This delicious granola recipe is on constant rotation at our house. It is a staple recipe that never gets old. It is easily doubled, which may come in handy ;) We always say easy, but this really is! And healthy too... what’s better than a big batch of homemade granola?
This recipe can be adapted to suit your likes. Add your favourite nuts, dried fruit, hemp or flax to make it yours!
Makes 1 sheet pan of granola
Prep time: 15 mins
Bake time: 22 mins
Cool time: 30 mins
Here is the basic recipe:

Ingredients:

4 cups rolled oats

1 1/2 cup nuts and seeds of your choice (We usually use pumpkin, sunflower and almonds)

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup olive oil
-
1/2 cup maple syrup
Directions:

Heat oven to 350 °F

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix everything together in a large bowl.

Press granola mixture evenly into a baking sheet.

Bake for 25-30 mins, or until golden, tossing halfway through.

Let cool completely without mixing for at least 30 mins. This will allow for the crunchy chunks in granola that we all love.
