About Us

2DA began in 2019 on our farm in Creemore, Ontario. What started as a way to share recipes quickly grew into something more - a creative outlet that became a shop for clothing and lifestyle pieces.

When we first opened our doors, the focus was on cookware and home goods. Over time, our vision shifted toward timeless clothing and hand-selected objects - pieces designed to be worn, lived with, and loved for years.

Our collections are made in partnership with a small, family-run manufacturer in India using natural fibres and hand-block printing. We believe in slow fashion, in design that feels easy and enduring, and in thoughtful production that supports the people who make our clothes.

The Mission

2DA is about being ourselves, without filters. We’re a mother-daughter team who believe that imperfection makes life interesting, and that the things we surround ourselves with- clothing, homewares, accessories, recipes, and more- should feel the same way. Our mission is simple: to create pieces and experiences that inspire you to feel good being exactly who you are.

The Process

At 2DA, every piece of clothing is made by hand, with care. We work closely with our family-run supplier in India, hand-carving wooden blocks and printing each piece with sustainable dyes, so no two prints are ever the same. The fabric is dried, cut, and turned into the pieces you see: designed by us in Creemore, handmade in India, and always unique. For everything else in the market, we carefully select products you won’t find anywhere else, working with suppliers who prioritize environmental care, local sourcing, and fair wages.

Our Values

Our values guide everything we do. We believe in careful craftsmanship, sustainability, and fairness, supporting the people and communities behind our products. We seek out pieces that are thoughtful, unique, and made to last, and we strive to make choices that are kind to the planet and its people.

Over the years,

2DA has been shared through local boutiques, community features, and our seasonal pop-up in Creemore. The summer pop-up has become a highlight of our year: a chance to connect in person, share our work, and welcome people into the world of 2DA.

The name still comes from its roots, 2 Dirty Aprons, but today it’s simply 2DA: a place where we bring together everything we care about - craft, community, and creating clothing that lasts.
